Pay with native USDC on Base mainnet through a compatible x402 wallet. No CSNB API key or monthly subscription is required for this route.

Before you choose

Know what is included.

What data does a lookup return?

Vehicle identity fields such as year, make, model, VIN, body type and transmission when available. Fields may be null. Owner details, vehicle valuations and a comprehensive history report are not included. Read the data scope.

How much is a RapidAPI plan?

The current subscription price, allowances and overage charges are listed on RapidAPI. Check that listing for any evaluation option and the plan that fits your expected usage.

What happens if an x402 request fails?

A lookup that fails before settlement is not charged. If a payment is processing or its settlement outcome is uncertain, retry the same URL with the same signed authorization and observe Retry-After. Do not create another payment while the first is uncertain.

Are direct USDC transfers the same as x402?

No. The optional direct-transfer invoice flow is prepaid and adds a unique amount below 0.01 USDC to the base price. It retains paid credit for a retry if the lookup is unavailable and does not automatically refund transfers. Read the separate flow before using it.

Can I discuss volume or a specific use case?
